2007 AAW Symposium Youth Turning

We had Elizabeth Biancosino attend the 2007 AAW Symposium in Portland with her Dad this past year. She participated in the Youth Turning Program and really enjoyed it. She participated in many of the sessions and ended up turning a top, a baseball bat pen, an egg cup and a few honey dippers.

Although she did not win one of the lathes that were being given away she did get a set of turning tools of her very own. She said she will have to make sure her Dad doesn't use them and she can call them her own. She took classes from both Bonnie Klein and Nick Cook. Besides the Youth Turning Elizabeth said her most exciting part was the Auction and dinner.

 She will be attending the 2008 Symposium in Richmond this year as well and participating in the Youth Turning Program .
