The AAW Symposium at the end of June, in Portland was again

Scott Trumbo, President of Serious Toolworks
(www.serioustoolworks.com), Tualatin, Oregon was this month's
demonstrator. Scott brought an extensive
array of the woodturning tools they manufacture. Featured is a cam-lock tool handle that
accepts (with a variety of collets) various turning tools. Included were their scrapers which are unique
in that their scrapers have straight-shank, rounded ends that also fit into the
cam-lock handles. Scott demonstrated the use of their knurling/texturing
tools. The knurling tool has a sliding,
locking presentation angle plate that rests on the tool rest and is used to
provide a consistent pattern angle. See
