Treasurer's report: Not available for this meeting Old Business: Subject of club purchase of Videos or DVDs for club library: Members were asked to submit list of those that were desired to Jerry Johnson or Dave Pellicer. Only one request has been received since the September meeting. Though not able to attend, Jerry Johnson sent an email to remind everyone, especially some of the newer members, that he and Don Gangl had offered one-on-one coaching sessions in their respective shops, by arrangement. These will be hands-on sessions for those interested. Please make arrangements directly with Jerry or Don Gangl. This is a most gracious offer on the part of these two very talented members. As John Barany was absent, there was no status update on Jack de Vos' availability next year. The last report was that John Barany was still negotiating with him to see if he can manage the trip to Kennewick. New Business: Nominations for election of club officers at the November meeting were: Elected positions are:
President Dave Pellicer (no one else volunteered)
Vice President Gordon Lienau (volunteered, thank you Gordon) Treasurer Jerry Johnson (no one else volunteered) Secretary Ernest Kuhn (no one else volunteered) Again, members present were encouraged to volunteer for one of the positions, there were no other volunteers. Only requirement is that club officers must be members of AAW. Ron Hipp volunteered to take on the duties/responsibilities of club Librarian. Library was transferred. Sincere thanks to Ron Hipp for his kind offer. John Barany has agreed to perform in the function of Program Selection. Don Gangl reported on an Ornamental Woodturner's meeting that he attended on Whidbey Island. Don also brought back an idea for two frisbee contests in the spring. Each participating member make two frisbees, one "for show" and one "for throw". Also discussed was the future acquisition of a club cargo trailer for club equipment. Both subjects to be discussed further.
Show and Tell items brought by various club members:

This month's program was a demonstration by Ron Gerton of his signature bronze casting process incorporated in much of his art work. It was a "blazingly hot" demonstration in every sense of the word and answered a lot of questions that arise when viewing some of Ron's intricate bronze sagebrush sculptures, "How in the world does he do that?" It was a most interesting and informative step-by-step walk through a most interesting process. See the following pictures of this process.

Meeting adjourned ~4:00pm.
