MEETING NOTICE

MID-COLUMBIA WOODTURNERS

SATURDAY, APRIL 14, 2007, 1 PM

MEETING WILL BE HELD AT WHITE’S UNFINISHED FURNITURE STORE

WHICH IS LOCATED AT 2 W. KENNEWICK AVE., KENNEWICK, WA.

The program will be given by John Barany. He will show us how to use an air brush to decorate wood turnings. The map shown below shows the location. There is a large parking lot on the north side of the building, just off of Canal Drive.

If you are coming from out of town take Kennewick Avenue to the east from Highway 395. Once you reach Washington Street turn left and go one block to Canal Drive and turn left onto Canal Drive. The parking lot will be on your left.

Please bring some of your items for show and tell.

We need your input and help for future programs. We will ask for your ideas at the meeting.

The 2007 AAW National Meeting will be held in Portland, Oregon from June 29 to July 1. The sessions will be held at the Portland Convention Center. The cost for the event is $275 for AAW members and $320 for non-members. One day registrations are also available. In addition to the sessions on turning, there is a trade show with over 40 vendors.
